IIARD recognizes that authors may occasionally need to withdraw their manuscripts and that published articles may need to be retracted under certain circumstances. The following outlines our policy regarding withdrawal and retraction:
Manuscript Withdrawal (Before Publication):
- Authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript before publication.
- A formal withdrawal request must be sent via email by the corresponding author.
- If the manuscript has already undergone peer review, an administrative fee may apply.
Retraction (After Publication):
Articles may be retracted under the following circumstances:
- Evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical violations.
- Major errors discovered post-publication that invalidate the research.
- Duplicate publication in another journal without proper citation or justification.
Procedure:
- Retraction notices will be published in the journal and linked to the original article.
- The retracted article will remain available online with a clear notice indicating its retracted status.
- Full transparency will be maintained by retaining the publication record with a retraction label or watermark.
Authors are encouraged to notify the editorial team promptly if they identify a significant issue requiring correction, withdrawal, or retraction.
Please note: Once a paper is published, any withdrawal will not be eligible for a refund of the publication fee.
