Improving Creativity and Innovation in Early Childhood Education: The Role of Leveraging Artificial Intelligence
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education guides the ethical use of AI to enhance learning, teaching and assessment globally. It is being used in education to help improve learning outcomes, automate routine classroom tasks, deliver actionable insights to improve curriculum. Therefore, this study examines the potentiality of artificial intelligence in enhancing creativity and innovation in early childhood education. As AI technologies continue to evolve their integration into educational setting offers unprecedented opportunities for personalized learning create expression and innovative problem-solving. The study reviews issues in creativity, innovation and leveraging artificial intelligence, it also demonstrates the current artificial intelligence practice in early childhood education. It identifies the roles of artificial intelligence practice in early childhood education and effective approaches towards the implementation of artificial intelligence to improve creativity and innovation among early childhood pupils that happen to be main objective of this study. It concludes that its implementation should be enforced in primary education especially in Nigeria. A qualitative research method was used in this study for proper analysis of data collected from relevant sources. The findings of this study reveal the critical importance of developing ethically sound and inclusive educational models for educators, researchers and stake holders in the face of technological development. In this context, primary education is identified as fundamental prerequisites for the sustainable and effective integration of artificial intelligence in early childhood education. Recommendation includes that workshop; teachers should be taught how develop artificial intelligence powered tools that support creative expression problems-solving skills on young learners.
