Nwabuatu, Emmanuel Nnajiubah. Ph.D

Abstract

This study examined managerial integrity and entrepreneurial success. The objectives of the study were to examine the relationship between ethical behaviour and customer satisfaction. To determine the relationship between ethical behavior and profitability. To ascertain the relationship between trustworthy and customer satisfaction and to examine the relationship between trustworthy and profitability. The study adopted a content analysis approach through literature review by examining empirical studies on managerial integrity and entrepreneurial success. From the existing literature reviewed, it was found that ethical behavior enhances customer satisfaction and improves profitability. Trustworthy enhances customer satisfaction, and also improves profitability. The study concluded that both ethical behavior and trustworthiness are critical components in driving customer satisfaction and profitability. Ethical behavior in leadership practices cultivates a positive organizational culture, which translates to loyal customers and sustainable business performance. Moreover, trustworthiness is a central factor in building long-term customer relationships, which directly impact profitability. The findings reinforce the idea that businesses focusing on ethics and trust can achieve a competitive advantage by creating stronger connections with customers and stakeholders, ultimately leading to enhanced profitability and long-term success. Entrepreneurs should invest in training programs that promote ethical decision-making and integrity on daily operations, fostering customer trust and satisfaction. Entrepreneurs should prioritize transparency in their dealings with customers, employees, and other stakeholders to build and maintain trust, leading to higher customer loyalty and satisfaction.
