Abstract

The study evaluated the implementation of Entrepreneurship Education programme in the Universities of Jos and Calabar, Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design where questionnaires were administered to the respondents to elicit information on the existing variables in the study area. The data obtained was analysed using computer software SPSS. That is SPSS was used to code, analyse and interpret the data. The one tailed about the mean t-test statistic was used to test the hypothesis at 0.05% level of significance. All the hypotheses were positive indicating that they have an effect on the implementation of entrepreneurship education. It was found out that instructional material resources are not adequate for the implementation of Entrepreneurship Education. Similarly, the pedagogy used by lecturers was significant in the implementation of Entrepreneurship Education in Universities of Jos and Calabar, Nigeria. All the null hypotheses were rejected and the alternate accepted. The researcher recommended a reinvigoration of funds by government in funding Entrepreneurship Education in the Universities in central Nigeria which has the capacity of expanding the frontiers of knowledge, combating and or reducing social ills and providing employment. This will help in the development of human resource and quality graduates that can be self-employed, thereby reducing social and economic problems.
