Sadat Ibn Adam, PhD and Kasimu Suleiman, Corresponding Author

Abstract

The study examined the effect of non-interest banking products on financial performance of Jaiz Bank Nigeria Plc. The study employed the descriptive research design where data was obtained from the financial statements of Jaiz Bank Plc. from 2012 – 2023. The data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistical tools such as Pearson correlation. The study found a positive correlation between non-interest financing products and financial performance of Jaiz Bank Plc. The study therefore recommended that Jaiz bank Plc should consider more carefully the utility and value maximization of investment in Musharakah and Murabahah in comparison to investments in Mudarabah and Ijarah assets, and that management of Jaiz bank Plc should increase investments in Ijarah assets and Mudarabah as doing so will improve shareholders’ wealth measured by Return on Asset , Return on Equity and Return on Investment .
