Two research questions were raised to guide the study. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. One hundred (100) respondents were selected for the study from a population of 2015 JSS 2 students using multi-stage sampling technique. A structured questionnaire titled: Assessment of Instructional Materials for Teaching Business Studies Questionnaire (AIMBSQ) was used to collect data. The instrument was validated by two experts in business education in order to ensure face and content validity of the instrument. Test re-test was done to ensure the consistency of the instrument using Cronbach's Alpha. 0.76 value was gotten which was high enough to determine the reliability of the instrument. The collected data were analyzed using frequency counts and percentages. The results indicated that inadequate availability of instructional materials for teaching business studies recorded high percentages. It was recommended that the federal as well as state government should provide instructional materials and teachers should improvise instructional materials when necessary.
