Impact of Teachers Job Satisfaction on Curriculum Implementation, Students’ Interest and Achievement in Social Studies in Colleges of Education North-East States, Nigeria

Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate impact of teachers’ job satisfaction on curriculum implementation, students’ interest and achievement in social studies in colleges of education North-East states, Nigeria. The population of the study was comprises of all N.C.E two students in all the colleges of education in North-East states, Nigeria. A sample of 300 students were involved for the study. Data was collected via questionnaire, interview and proforma. Data collected was analised using statistical package SPSS. The study was guided by five study objectives and answer five research questions. Recommendations was drawn from the expected outcome of the study. Findings of the study implies that lecturers’ job satisfaction significantly correlates social studies students’ interest towards social studies statistically.
