Abstract

The study examined Learning Models for Improved Entrepreneurial Skills Adaptation among Graduating Business Education Students in Rivers and Bayelsa States Universities. Three specific objectives, research questions and corresponding hypotheses respectively guided the study. The study adopted descriptive survey design. The population of the study consists of five hundred and seventy-three (573) graduating Business Education students from the three institutions. A sample of 286 students, representing 50 percent of the population, was drawn from three universities in Rivers and Bayelsa States using simple random sampling technique. A self-structured questionnaire was used for data collection, the instrument was validated by three experts and tested for reliability and a reliability index of 0.78 was obtained using Cronbach Alpha Coefficient. Analysis was done using mean and standard deviation. One-Way ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses. The study found that flipped classroom, project-based learning, and virtual reality learning models significantly improve entrepreneurial skills adaptation among graduating Business Education students in Rivers and Bayelsa States Universities. The study concludes that flipped classroom, project-based learning, and virtual reality learning models significantly enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities of graduating students. Recommendation made amongst others, was that Educational institutions should invest in necessary infrastructure and resources, such as technology and software, to support the implementation of flipped classroom, project-based learning, and virtual reality learning models, ensuring seamless integration into Business Education programme.
