Artificial Intelligence and Human Capital Management for Sustainable Performance: A Conceptual Review

Abstract

The conceptual paper originated by carefully considering journal articles, conference materials, and books about the subject topic and keywords. The goal of the research is to study the association between artificial intelligence and human capital management for sustainable organizational performance. The study also examined the mediating role of HCM practices in the relationship between AI integration and sustainable performance. The theoretical frameworks drawn to understand the crossroads between AI and sustainable performance were Dynamic Capability Theory (DCT), and Human Resources-Based View Theory (HRBV) for HCM. The study used systematic literature to build its conceptual model. Based on the conceptual model built; present research theorized that there is a positive relationship between artificial intelligence (human capital management and sustainable organizational performance).
