Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence for Transformation of Office Technology and Management

Abstract

Digitalization is the converting of physical records into digital records that is searchable and can be accessed and retrieved in the same manner or in other way round the converting of analogy records into digital records while artificial intelligence is the digitalized way of using machines, symbol and sounds scientifically to carry out jobs that are supposed to be done by humans. That this digitalized way of doing jobs is free from human errors that hinder efficiency. Our offices are managed in an analogy way with pros and cons – missing files and inappropriate records that pose problems/challenges. On the part of workers cumbersome, stressful and discomfort that reduces the progress expected to be achieved. At this juncture, this paper will focus on digitalization and artificial intelligence in an office, effects of digitalization and artificial intelligence on the office workers, benefits of digitalisation and artificial intelligence on the organisation and the challenges of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
