Securing Data in Cloud: An Experimental Model for Federal Polytechnic Wannune Staff
Abstract
This work reviewed related literature on other models for security solutions in cloud computing. The work used AES and MD5 algorithms to effectively secure data on cloud. AES was used to encrypt data before it was sent to the cloud database while MD5 was used to secure password for authentication. The hybrid system was designed using UML diagrams. The system was implemented using java and MySQL database server and results showed that it effectively secured various data. The work is recommended to improve the security of data in cloud.
