Akabuike Nkiruka Maria-Assumpta

Abstract

The rapid pace of innovation across science, technology, arts, and humanities has created unprecedented opportunities for human advancement while simultaneously raising profound ethical challenges. This paper explores how ethical standards must evolve to address dilemmas in data privacy, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cultural production, and interdisciplinary scholarship. It argues that ethical frameworks must balance innovation with responsibility, ensuring inclusivity, sustainability, and respect for human dignity. By examining global perspectives and emerging debates, the paper highlights pathways for integrating ethics into innovation ecosystems.
