An AI-Powered Advertising Assistant for Meta Platforms Using Large Language and Generative Models

Abstract

In today’s digital landscape, managing advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram) has become increasingly complex. Advertisers face challenges such as creating engaging ad copy, targeting the right audience, optimizing budgets, and analyzing performance data in real time. This project introduces an AI-powered advertising assistant that leverages large language models and generative AI to automate ad creation, suggest audience targeting strategies, and provide performance insights. The main objective of this system is to enhance efficiency, reduce human workload, and improve campaign effectiveness by generating creative ad content and actionable recommendations. The methodology involves designing a cloud-based system integrated with Meta’s marketing APIs, using LLMs to generate ad copy and generative AI for multimedia content suggestions. Initial evaluation focuses on the assistant’s ability to produce relevant and high-performing ad drafts. The findings indicate the potential of AI-driven assistants in streamlining digital marketing workflows.
