Communication Strategies Compliance Between Physical Planning Unit, Polytechnic Management, and Contractors in Kaduna Polytechnic Construction Projects
Abstract
Effective communication strategies are vital for the successful execution of construction projects in Kaduna Polytechnic environments. This study examines the level of compliance with established communication strategies among the Physical Planning Unit , Kaduna Polytechnic management, and contractors in ongoing and completed projects within the Kaduna Polytechnic colleges. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The findings reveal gaps in communication flow, inconsistencies in protocol adherence, and the impact of these on project timelines and quality. The study recommends strengthening institutional communication frameworks, digitalizing reporting systems, and enforcing compliance monitoring to enhance collaboration and project outcomes.
