Abstract
This study analysed the Assessment of Computed Tomography imaging parameters and techniques for exposure optimization at Federal Teaching Hospital Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, A prospective experimental design analysed total of 150 patients were collected from the General Electric 64-slice scanner, covering 6 routine CT examination: brain without contrast media, chest without contrast media, abdomen without contrast media, abdomen with contrast media, abdomen and chest(AC) with contrast media, and chest, abdomen, head (CAH) with contrast media. scan parameters and dose levels were Compared them internationally established diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) and see if better optimization is been practice.
