Radiological Evaluation of Adenoidal Enlargement in Children Using Postnasal Space Radiography: Morphometric Findings from A Tertiary Hospital in Northwest Nigeria
Abstract
Enlarged adenoids are the most common cause of upper airway obstruction in children and adolescents. Timely radiographic evaluation assists in diagnosis and management planning. Aim: To assess the morphometric findings of adenoidal enlargement using lateral postnasal space radiographs in symptomatic children. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study included 90 children aged 3-12 years with clinical symptoms suggestive of adenoidal hypertrophy.
