The State and Electoral Violence: An Analysis of 2023 Presidential Election in Rivers State

Abstract

The study investigated the state and electoral violence with focus on 2023 presidential election in Rivers state[cite: 7]. [cite_start]Three research questions guided the study with three corresponding objectives, the study adopted the Social Identity theory as its theoretical framework[cite: 7].
