Alfred-Jaja Stella Wellignton-Igonibo

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has redefined pedagogical practices and necessitated a critical reconceptualization of learner roles in higher education. The study begins examine major concepts such as AI-driven business education, learner roles in contemporary education, student co-creation in AI-enabled business education and students’ participatory dynamics in AI- enabled learning environments. The study integrates these components into an AI-Based Integrative Process that combines adaptive pedagogy, intelligent tutoring, and automated assessment to enhance engagement and improve academic outcomes. Finally, the conclusion stress the need for redefined learner agency and institutional adaptability, while it was recommended to advocate for policy-driven adoption of AI tools, faculty retraining, co-design learning platforms, and equitable access to AI resources.
