Prof OC IKPESU EUGENE, Victory Chizim

Abstract

This study investigated Artificial intelligence optimization and Business Education Postgraduate Students Financial Risk Management Abilities in Rivers State Universities. The area of the study was Rivers State. Three specific objectives, three research questions and three null hypotheses guided the study. The study adopted correlational research design. The population of the study was 117 postgraduate Business Education students for 2024/2025 academic session. There was no sampling as the entire population was used for the study, the reason was that the population size is manageable. Two questionnaires that was self-structured by the researcher was used for data collection; the instrument was titled” Artificial Intelligence Optimization and “Business Education postgraduate students’ financial risk management abilities”. The instrument was validated by three experts, one in Measurement and Evaluation and others from Business Education department. The instruments were structured on a 4-point likert scale of Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree and Strongly Disagree. In order to establish the reliability of the instrument that was used for the study, test re-test method was adopted, scores obtained were correlated using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and it yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.76 and 0.82 which revealed that the instruments are suitable for the study. Data collected was analyze using Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient to answer research questions and hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance using SPSS version 28. Findings of the study revealed that there is a negative correlation between deep learning algorithm, AI neutral networks and financial risk management abilities. Also, there is a positive correlation between robotics process automation, and financial risk management abilities. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others Embed neural network-based AI tools in classro
