Teaching Reform of Advanced Algebra Course Based on OBE Concept
Abstract
Amid the comprehensive advancement of teacher education accreditation, Advanced Algebra—a core foundational course for mathematics teacher education majors—urgently requires teaching reform guided by the student-centered, outcome-based, continuous improvement (Outcome- Based Education, OBE) concept. By analyzing issues in traditional teaching such as ambiguous objective orientation, disconnection between content and application, and simplistic evaluation methods, this study integrates accreditation standards' requirements for supporting graduation competencies to construct a systematic reform pathway: objective reconstruction-content optimization-method innovation-evaluation refinement-faculty empowerment.
