Isaac I Mwesigwa, Cuthbert Mhilu, Benjamin Ndimila, Geophrey Damson

Abstract

This study presents the design and analysis of a servo-valve model aimed at optimizing the operation of aircraft landing gear systems. Specifically, it addresses the objective of developing a precise servo-valve model capable of simulating spool displacement accurately to enhance hydraulic control during landing and takeoff phases. Simulation results demonstrate the model’s capability to achieve fine control, minimal overshoot, and rapid stabilization, reinforcing its applicability in aviation safety and operational efficiency.
