Application of Gamma-Exponential Performance to Flood Peak Data Exceedances
Abstract
The usefulness of statistical distributions must be taken into account when assessing and forecasting actual occurrences. Several statistical distributions have been used by several scholars to analyze data from the actual world. The main goal of this work was to employ the recently established Gamma-Exponential distribution to represent real-life data. The Gamma-Exponential distribution's applicability and performance were evaluated by contrasting it with other widely used statistical distributions. According to the findings, the Gamma-Exponential distribution outperformed the other distributions in terms of adequacy and fit.
