A Secure Hybrid Network Architecture for Multinational Business Collaboration

Olebara, Comfort Chinaza, Abana, Prince Chukwuka

Abstract

In today’s globalized economy, multinational organizations face increasing challenges in ensuring secure, seamless, and efficient communication across geographically dispersed units. This paper proposes a secure hybrid network architecture designed to facilitate collaborative operations for multinational businesses. By integrating cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures, the model supports both centralized control and localized autonomy. Emphasis is placed on authentication, end-to-end encryption, secure file sharing, and real-time communication. The research also presents a prototype implementation using Firebase for authentication, a web and Android front end for access, and a secure admin panel for oversight. Findings show the system enhances productivity, reduces risk exposure, and supports compliance with international data protection standards.
