Statistical Properties of Cubic Transmuted Fréchet Distribution and Application to Aircraft Data
Abstract
This article provides a new statistical distribution named Cubic Transmuted Fréchet distribution obtained using cubic transmutation map suggested by Aslam et al. (2018). Various statistical properties of this distribution were investigated which includes: Hazard function, moments, moment generating function, order statistics, Renyi entropy were obtained. The maximum likelihood estimator of the unknown parameters of the distribution was derived. Application to aircraft data set shows it tractability over its sub-model in analyzing lifetime data.
