The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Shaping Public Opinion and Political Will Toward Food Policy Reform
Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing how societies perceive and engage with public policy issues, including food policy reform. This paper explores the multifaceted role of AI in shaping public opinion and political will in the context of food systems transformation. By analyzing AI's applications in data analytics, targeted communication, misinformation control, civic engagement, and policy modeling, the paper shows how AI can both support and challenge reform efforts. The study concludes by discussing the ethical implications and policy recommendations for the responsible use of AI in promoting inclusive and sustainable food policy reforms.
