On the Analysis of The Displacements in a Finite Isotropic Cracked Wedge Under Anti Plane Shear Deformation
Abstract
Afiniteisotropiccrackedwedgeunderantiplanesheardeformationwithacrackalong?= 0, 0 ? ??? and a concentrated tractionloadalongitsradialedgesisanalyzedwithparticularconsiderationgiventothedisplacemen tfieldseverywhereinthewedge.TheproblemisformulatedusingtheFiniteMellintransformofthesec ondkind,andthesolutionaccompaniedbyemployingtheWiener- Hopftechniquetoobtainaclosedformsolution.Itisfoundthatattheregioncontainingthecrack,there isnocontinuityofthedisplacementfields,whilecontinuityofthedisplacementfieldsexistsinotherreg ionsofthewedgematerial.
