This study investigated professional commitment of lecturers towards team teaching. The study was necessitated by the attitude of most lecturers towards team teaching. it is observed that sometimes, there are as many as six lecturers assigned to one course yet their activities are sluggish and unprofessional towards accomplishing basic educational tasks. Many lecturers seem to be just satisfied with being part of a team in a course without actually contributing to the team
