Enhancing Buyer/Supplier Collaboration and Organizational Performance in Construction Firms in Port Harcourt

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between Enhancing Buyer/Supplier Collaboration and organizational performance of construction firms in Port Harcourt Metropolis. The study adopted the cross-sectional survey research design. Population of the study comprised of twenty two construction (finelib.com/cities/Port Harcourt/business/construction) metropolis. The entire population of the study was adopted as its sample size using census technique. 110 copies of structured questionnaire were distributed to five respondents in each of the 22 construction firms under investigation. However, 90 copies were retrieved and used for the analysis. The Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to test the hypotheses. The findings revealed that Enhancing Buyer/Supplier Collaboration significantly and positively related to organizational performance. It was also revealed that Enhancing Buyer/Supplier Collaboration correlated with reliability and organizational efficiency. The study therefore, concluded that Enhancing Buyer/Supplier Collaboration has positive influence on organizational performance of construction firms in Port Harcourt Metropolis. The study
