This study investigates the impact of climate change awareness on pro-environmental behaviours among agricultural science education students at Niger Delta University. Three specific objectives, research questions, and hypotheses guided the study. A descriptive survey research design was employed, targeting a population of 113 students from the Department of Agricultural Science Education. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire, and the reliability of the instrument was confirmed through Cronbach’s Alpha, with an acceptable coefficient of 0.70. Descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation, were used to analyse the research questions, while linear regression analysis tested the hypotheses at a 0.05 significance level. The findings reveal that climate change awareness significantly influences students' waste management behaviours but has a weaker impact on other aspects of pro-environmental behaviour. Regression analysis further confirms a statistically significant positive relationship between climate change awareness and environmental conservation, activism, and sustainability. Based on these findings, relevant recommendations were provided.
