The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between accounting software skills mentorship and Business Education students employability in Rivers State University. The study adopted correlational design. Two research questions were posed and two corresponding null hypotheses were formulated to guide the conduct of the study. The population of the study comprised of 215 final year students of Business Education in Rivers State University which also formed the sample size. The researcher employed the services of two experts for the validation of the instruments. Reliability level for the instruments was established using a test- retest method. Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to analyse the Two sets of questionnaires were developed by the researchers titled Questionnaire on ‘accounting software skills mentorship (QASSM) and Questionnaire on ‘Business Education students employability in Rivers State University (QBESE). The instrument was test-retest using Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) and reliability quotients of 0.71 and 0.82 for the two research questions were obtained. This was done by administering the instrument to 18 final year students of Business Education who were not part of the study sample and population. The instruments were administered to the respondents at their various institutions. Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used for answering the research questions testing of the hypotheses at 0.05% level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that there is a positive relationship between QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software mentorship and Business Education student’s employability in Rivers State University. The researcher recommended that The teaching of accounting software skills should be encouraged to link the gap between theory and practice to give Business Education Students competitive advantage in the labo
