This paper examines the issues of African Traditional Health-Care Delivery System against the backdrop of misconceptions of African Traditional Medical practices as being sub- standard in comparison with Western/Judeo-Christian Health-Care Delivery Systems. The paper draws a parallel between the two systems with reference to diagnostic, curative and preventive functions. The paper concludes that while there are areas of divergence, both systems share broad affinity in diagnostic, curative and preventive functions.
